It has been a real privilege to work with you this past year in the Crusade of spreading Our Lady Of Fatima's message. During the time that I was travelling the more than 20,000 miles to bring you Our Lady's requests, I was gratified and edified by your response. You are to be commended not only for your love of the Virgin Mary, but also for your mature and practical actions in showing your devotion to Her.

    I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your thoughtfulness and charity. Many of you opened your homes to me, gave me meals, and a place to stay, and you didn't hesitate to do the seemingly trivial jobs, like carrying boxes, setting up the tables for literature, and hundreds of little jobs that needed doing.

    I would also like to commend and thank you for your financial support of this Fatima Apostolate. It has certainly helped me to help others. This year I gave away thirty-eight thousand Scapulars, twenty-two thousand Rosaries, and one hundred and seventy thousand leaflets. All this is very encouraging, but there is still much to be done to bring the message of Our Holy Mother — the Mother of the Church — to everyone.

    People ask me how they can help promote Our Lady's Apostolate. First, we should fulfill in our own lives the minimum Our Lady asks of us - to consecrate ourselves to Our Heavenly Mother, to do our daily duty, to say our Rosary (five decades) daily, and to wear our Brown Scapular. Then we can do a little more than the minimum — we can fulfill the Five First Saturdays, we can pray more, especially in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Great Importance was placed on the Blessed Sacrament in the Message of Fatima, and Francisco, one of the seers, loved to pray in front of the "Hidden" Jesus.

    We could spread knowledge of the Fatima message by reading about it ourselves, by talking about it, and by giving out leaflets and books.

    You could even start Fatima cells, begin home visitation programs of local Pilgrim Virgin statues, and begin block rosaries in your neighborhood. You can greatly help by organizing a visit of the Pilgrim Statue to your area. There is a list of pamphlets, leaflets and books which the National Pilgrim Virgin distributes.     During my travels, I saw the wonderful things many people were doing to spread the devotion to Our Lord and Our Lady.
