Fatima
The Cabeço
It was on this hill that the Angel appeared twice to the little
shepherds. This was the secluded place that the three seers preferred for their
talks and for prostrating themselves to repeat the prayers the Angel had taught
them.
In her Memoirs, Sister Lucy describes how the
Angel gave the children Holy Communion and then, kneeling with them, taught
them this prayer:
"Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ,
present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the sacrileges,
outrages and indifference by which He Himself is offended. And through the
infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I
beg of You the conversion of poor sinners."
