Fatima
The Way of
Penance
Millions of pilgrims come to Fatima each year to pray and do
penance, obeying the Mother of God's urgent request for prayer, sacrifice and
reparation. Here we see pilgrims on the Via Sacra, the principal street of
Fatima which begins in the Cova da Iria and terminates in a garden near the
Cabeço.

Our Lady told the children:
"Sacrifice
yourselves for sinners and say often to Jesus, especially each time you make a
sacrifice: O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners and in
reparation for sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of
Mary." |
