Why It is Urgent That You Read The Fatima Crusader Issue 75

Blessed Be God in the Highest

Why It is Urgent That You Read
The Fatima Crusader
Issue 75

Issue 75 of The Fatima Crusader went to press in early December. Msgr. Guerra, the Rector of the Shrine of Fatima, was asked in November — more than once — to either confirm or deny or comment on the published statements about his plans for making Fatima into an "interfaith Shrine". Msgr. Guerra did not respond after more than a month of waiting, and The Fatima Crusader went to press.

On December 28, Msgr. Guerra issued a statement which he subsequently revised on or about January 7. This statement, at first glance, appears to deny the newspaper accounts of October and November and, if that were really true, would make the publication of this Crusader somewhat redundant.

However, upon analysis, this issue of The Fatima Crusader is more relevant and urgent today than ever, as can be seen from the brief article immediately following, analyzing "the Rector’s denials". Also see John Vennari’s lengthier analysis of "the Rector’s denials" in his article "Shrine Rector Confirms New Ecumenical Orientation at Fatima" here at fatima.org.
