In his latest Fatima Perspectives column, “Russia Declares War on Georgia”, noted author and President of the American Catholic Lawyers Association, Christopher A. Ferrara, warns us that the heavenly admonitions of the Message of Fatima loom larger than ever for the Church and the world. Vladimir Putin, the real ruler of Russia, has begun an invasion of neighboring Georgia that is clearly intended to recapture that nation as part of a reconstructed neo-Soviet empire based on oil wealth.

Read our ongoing series about The Saints of the Week. Our featured Saints this week are Saint Philomena (August 11th) and the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (August 15th).

St. Philomena is venerated as a virgin and martyr. She has been the object of great devotion of many saints. Many wonderful favors have been obtained through her intercession.

On the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Church commemorates the happy departure from life of Our Lady, and Her entry into the kingdom of Heaven, in which She received from Our Lord Jesus Christ a crown of immortal glory, and a throne above all the other saints and heavenly spirits.

“The Diabolical Disorientation in the Secular World – ‘Health Care’”

In Fatima News And Views, staff writer Joanna Swords, who worked as a Registered Nurse for nearly 23 years, shares with us this article on a grave secular matter. Many of us tend to think of the diabolical disorientation spoken of by Sister Lucy (one of the three seers of the Apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima) mainly in regard to the Catholic Church and the spiritual realm. But as the Church goes, so goes the world — and logically so. God’s ways are perfect... Catholicism as established by Our Lord is a way of life. God’s ways are right-thinking and His laws are perfect. But the more a person strays from Truth, that is, from the Catholic Faith, the more skewed his thinking may become. His thinking may be just as the world wants him to think, but generally the way the world thinks is completely different from God’s ways…

We at the Fatima Center acknowledge that the Message of Fatima given to us by Our Blessed Mother, was truly intended for all children of God, whatever nationality they may be. In order to serve Our Lady in spreading devotion to Her Message, we offer the following translations. (Click on the Spanish flag)

“La Consagración de Rusia: El pedido de Nuestro Señor y el análisis de este pedido”, Spanish, [“The Consecration of Russia: The Request of Our Lord and Analysis of this Request”]

On June 13, 1929, while Sister Lucy was at the novitiate of the Dorotheans at Tuy, Spain, Our Lady fulfilled Her promise of July 13, 1917: "I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart...” God has given to the Church and the world this unchangeable plan of His to obtain world peace only by means of the Pope and Catholic bishops’ consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Almighty God has so decreed to demonstrate to the Church and the world not only the necessity and importance of devotion to Our Lady, but also to demonstrate through this consecration of Russia and the consequent world peace, the importance and authority of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church.

“El Mensaje dirigido a los individuos”, Spanish, [“The Message Addressed to Individuals”]

At Fatima, the Blessed Mother did not ask individual souls for anything particularly difficult. She repeated to men a message they had been ignoring for some time. Our Lady of Fatima stressed the need for individual souls to stop sinning and return to God, as God is being grievously offended and countless souls are falling into hell because of their sins. Our Lady of Fatima stressed the need for prayer, sacrifice and penance – the penance of each person fulfilling his or her daily duty well, obeying God’s laws, avoiding the near occasions of sin and acting in accordance with His will in all things.

“El Mensaje dirigido a la Jerarquía de la Iglesia”, Spanish, [“The Message Addressed to the Church Hierarchy”]

In 1941, Spain, which had recently suffered so terribly under the wrath of Communism during the Spanish Civil War, was the subject of a heavenly message to Sister Lucy. This message lamented the evils afflicting the Church in Spain and offered the remedy for them.

“El mensaje dirigido a los países cristianos”, Spanish, [“The Message Addressed to Christian Countries”]

Implicit in the Message of Fatima is a warning for all Christian countries. The Message of Fatima calls upon these countries to reject the Masonic godlessness that has enveloped and destroyed Christian society, and turn for strength to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. They are being asked once again to unequivocally recognize the Social Kingship of Christ, and harmonize their government, their laws, institutions, and all public life and society with His laws.

“Las profecías ya cumplidas: Los cuatro castigos”, Spanish, [“Prophecies Already Fulfilled: The Four Chastisements”]

We can already see clear signs of the fulfillment of the four prophecies conveyed by Our Lady of Fatima: war, famine, persecution of the Church and persecution of the Holy Father. The first chastisement predicted, war, began to be fulfilled with the Second World War, and is continuing to be fulfilled through the many wars that are being fought across the world every day. And despite the attempts of various international bodies and other groups and individuals to bring about an end to war, the fighting and killing goes on.

“La Consagración de Rusia: Consecuencias para el Mundo”, Spanish, [“The Consecration of Russia: Consequences for the World”]

When the Pope and all of the Catholic bishops of the world consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, what will be the result? What will the promised Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary look like? … On the other hand, history has demonstrated the results of the Pope and bishops’ failure to consecrate Russia. We have seen countless wars and conflicts: World War II; the Korean and Vietnam Wars; countless bloody revolutions in Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia; the Iraqi wars, etc. Also, we have the war against the unborn being fought, even on our own soil, in which 50 million babies are killed every year worldwide.

Read more about the book that will CRACK the Vatican’s wall of silence — the book that CLEARLY proves “that the Secret is Still Hidden.”
