The Fatima Basilica

Day 1 - Saturday, May 10:
Evening departure for flight to Lisbon from Liberty International Airport (Newark, NJ).

Day 2 - Sunday, May 11: 
Upon arrival in Lisbon we will travel to the hotel in Fatima for lunch and rest. Mass will be celebrated at Fatima. The afternoon will be free to pray at the Capelinha where Our Lady appeared six different times, visit the Old Basilica as well as the Tombs of Blessed Francisco andBlessed Jacinta, and Sister Lucy. Overnight in Fatima.

Candlelight Vigil

Day 3 - Monday, May 12:
Today we will visit Aljustrel, where we will find the homes of the three children, the well, Valinhos, where Our Lady appeared in August, 1917, the Cabeço where the angel appeared, Fatima Village Church, and the Cemetery. We will also visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Ortiga. After dinner we will take part in the Candlelight Vigil Procession at the Fatima Shrine. Overnight in Fatima.  

Batalha

Day 4 - Tuesday, May 13: 
In the morning we will take part in the 91st Anniversary outdoor procession, Mass and Benediction, Blessing of the Sick, Consecration and Adeus (Farewell). In the afternoon we will travel to the magnificent Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory inBatalha with its beautiful monastery and renowned chapels. We will also visit Our Lady of Fetal and the City of Ourem where the three children were imprisoned and Blessed Jacinta was hospitalized. Overnight in Fatima.

Santarem

Day 5 - Wednesday, May 14:
Today we will visit Santarem, site of the Eucharistic Miracle of the Bleeding Host. From there we will travel to Lisbon and visit the Birthplace of St. Anthony. We will also visitJeronimos Monastery, perhaps the most prominent monastery in Lisbon and the Madre de Deus Church, one of the most beautiful churches in the world. Overnight in Fatima.

Pontevedra

Day 6 - Thursday, May 15:
Following breakfast in Fatima, Pilgrims travel to Tuy, Spain stopping to visit the Carmelite Convent in Coimbrawhere Sister Lucy lived, and the church where the incorrupt body of St. Elizabeth is entombed. We will then travel to Viana do Costello, theShrine of Saint Lucia, patron saint of eye problems. Overnight in Tuy.

 

The Vision of Tuy


Day 7 - Friday, May 16:

In the morning we will visit the Convent in Tuy, where Sister Lucy received the vision of Our Lady and the Holy Trinity requesting the Consecration of Russia, and where she wrote the words Our Lady spoke in the Third Secret. In the afternoon we will travel to Pontevedra where Our Lady and the Child Jesus appeared and spoke to Sister Lucy of Fatima. We will walk in the footsteps of the Child Jesus, and see the cell where Our Lady appeared with Her Son asking for the Communion of Reparation on the First Saturdays. Overnight in Tuy.

Day 8 - Saturday, May 17:
Today we will go to Rianjo where Jesus prophesied to Sister Lucy the danger of death facing the Pope and our bishops today because Russia has not been consecrated to the Immaculate Heart. We will then travel toSantiago, the third most visited pilgrim site in all of Christendom, where we will visit the Tomb of St. James the Apostle in the magnificent 1000-year-old cathedral. Overnight in Tuy.



Rianjo



Day 9 - Sunday, May 18:

After Mass we return to Fatima driving through pastoral scenery. We will stop near the City of Portowhere Our Lord appeared to Alexandrina. Overnight in Fatima..

Day 10 - Monday, May 19: 
We depart Covadonga and travel near the beautiful mountain range of the Picos De Europa. Overnight near San Sebastian.
